Helping businesses publish thoughtful content that impacts people's lives.

Who I am

To sum it up: a multi-passionate creative with a lifelong love for words and stories.

Coming from a blended family of diverse backgrounds, I have a strong curiosity for information and how to best communicate different perspectives. Since 2nd grade, themes of my writing have included discovery, self-study, resolving conflict and overcoming adversity.

I’m light-hearted and eager to explore the discomforts of reality. With that comes an interest in solutions; a need to observe facts to get to the root of an issue. This is true whether I’m writing SEO copy or waxing poetic in a personal notebook.

Hi, I'm Lindsey

"How'd you become a writer?"

Lifelong interest and experience! I’ve always enjoyed working out concepts with words on a page. Creative writing was my main hobby as a young person.

In 2018, I stumbled upon the opportunity to write blogs for extra income. Because I had the desire and the skills, it was an easy yes.

How it started:

My first freelance gig was writing for a mental health center.

Someone on the team suggested I learn SEO (Search Engine Optimization).  I got to learn real, results-driven writing practices in a way that gets web pages found by Google. I soon took on the team’s topic research, writing and content management role.

And I got pretty good at it.

I wrote for service-based companies of all types of industries and improved local Search Rankings of their websites, Google My Business and Yelp pages. Everything was going well.

Then, 2020 happened

I made a difficult choice to leave an unhealthy situation, and as a result, lost my professional network. I no longer wanted to be in marketing. I realized I had been following what someone else wanted for me. It wasn’t my dream. So I put an end to my writing career.

Or so I thought.

2020 shifted a lot for me (you can read about it here). I had to start over, improve my mindset and realign with new goals.

In March of 2021—after a hiatus full of self-improvement and part-time nannying—I started writing again.

Back at step ZERO, I picked up writing gigs on Upwork then gradually took on new clients of my own. Over the past two years, I’ve worked with some amazing brands and leaders. It led me to specialize in writing for podcasts and online education.

How it's going:

Now, I’m happy to say that I learn and write for a living. Childhood dream come true.

Through all of the experiences that led me here—through all the challenges, research, computer hours, repurposing, crafting deliverables for businesses and beyond—I’ve realized something:

Everyone wants to be legit.
Everyone wants to experience success in their personal and professional lives.
But few are willing to invest in the ongoing work of making themselves “legit”. Successful. Functional.
Better.

The same can be true for your business strategy and the words you put out there. It isn’t easy to know how to put all of the meaningful pieces together… especially when it comes to marketing to an audience in the ways that only you can.

This is why I love doing what I do.

I help you clarify your voice, aim for the vision and lay the foundation with valuable writing.  That way, you can focus on living your message and offering your services, while creating the life of your dreams. As for me? I’m just happy to make your offer more accessible to the people who want to learn (and buy) from you most.

If you can think and speak and write, you are absolutely deadly. Nothing can get in your way.
